Usually jump across the map towards the wizard. Occasionally they will sidestep attacks. Boulders (x5) are very effective against them - easy to cast and killing them with one blow. It's better to ceep close to them as it prevents them from jumping and allows to use AoE spells.

They move slowly but perform a charge when the wizard goes to close, sending him flying and heavily damaging (often killing). This forces the wizard to keep at a distance and interrupts fighting with raiders. Shields and earth walls () can be and effective way of protection against charging, and also good method of attacking when the walls are enhanced with some damaging elements ( is a strong spell).
