Game Description: The staff was specially crafted for warfare, and is designed to help the wielder survive just a little bit longer.

The Staff of War is one of the more commonly encountered staves and a good overall weapon for those who expect to find themselves in close combat.

Abilities

  • The physical resistance aura reduces damage from most enemies in melee, some ranged attackers such as goblin archers, and pure stone projectile spells. Combined with the double HP enhancement, this renders you quite difficult to kill.
  • Best Use: Survival


Pros

  • Makes you very tough to kill.
  • Commonly Found/Dropped.

Cons

  • Doesn't enhance healing, so you'll need to heal yourself several times to recover from severe injury.
  • Shields are not enhanced, so this staff provides no additional protection against status effects such as cold or fire.
